A great family day out in Suffolk - The show team have been busy planning and preparing to be able to bring the show back in its wonderfully traditional agricultural show format with all of the long standing elements including the flower show, rural crafts, livestock and equine programme, art show, trade stands offering a huge variety of shopping, food hall with producers from the local area set to tempt you with delicious treats alongside our rings full of activities, horses, driving classes, heavy horses and in the main ring the incredible Bolddog FMX display team to wow you with their bravery alongside Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Police Dogs Force and the arrival of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Torch Relay during the fantastic Grand Parade of winners.

About Essex Young Farmers Show

Established for over 30 years, The Essex Young Farmers Country Show is one of the premier agricultural shows in the county, with average attendances in excess of 14,000.

The day promises to thrill, entertain and educate with the many different areas that make up the Essex Young Farmers Country Show.

All the food at the market is grown, baked, brewed and butchered by the person who is selling it so that you, the customer can find out everything you want to know before you buy – there are no hidden surprises. Bring along the family and any four legged friends – there's a fabulous van serving freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas. Or why not make a day of it and enjoy lunch, walk or a drink in one Lavenham’s many pubs and immerse yourself in the beauty and history of one of Britain’s most historic villages.

Parking in the village is free all day. Dogs are very welcome at the market.

About Beccles Food & Drink Festival

Following a successful return in 2021, Beccles Food and Drink Festival is back to celebrate a feast of culinary delights for 2022. 

The free Festival will feature over 50 food and drink stalls, many of them local artisan producers, as well as those from further afield in East Anglia.  Based in the centre of the vibrant market town, the Festival will include cookery demonstrations and talks, world street food and children’s entertainment.  

A free Park & Ride shuttle service will run throughout the day from Beccles Quay, where additional parking will be available.

About the Bury St Edmunds Whitsun Fayre 

There will be plenty for you to see and experience at this year’s Whitsun Fayre as you enjoy a stroll around the wonderful town centre. There are some real treats in store for you, and this year will feature a selection of flowers, plants, crafts, charity stalls, food & drink traders, and a variety of fairground rides. There will be stalls in the Buttermarket, Cornhill, and Angel Hill providing you with a great opportunity to buy and try a tasty treat.

Come and visit the 2022 Plant Heritage Plant Fair & Artisan Market With specialist nurseries, artisan products, conservation zone, entertainment and children’s activities, we’ll have something for every taste and age. Plant Heritage is a charity dedicated to the conservation of rare garden plants.
